8th Grade Places 2nd at Hoover

The 8th grade placed 2nd at Hoover on Saturday, March 3.  Congratulations to Libby and David for their first award of the year. We tied Muscle Shoals 55 to 55 on ciphering.  They beat us by 39 points on the test to take 1st.  We'll meet them again at Berry on April 14 for our last tournament.  Let's go out on TOP.  Thank you for showing class during the awards ceremony.  I am so proud of all of you.  If we work hard in class and at home, we will win these last two tournaments at GACS and Berry.

Pizitz Results - Wow!

It is hard to put into words the feeling during the awards ceremony at Pizitz today.  Just so PROUD of ALL the kids and the hard work they have put in lately.  It is such a privilege to be your teacher and see you excel and see all those practice hours and study that you do at home pay off today.  Both teams placed 1st in our division which is great, but also the 8th graders placed 2ND OVERALL and the 7th grade placed 3RD OVERALL out of 39 teams. 

Looking forward to Fairview Tuesday for the 7th graders and Hoover for all of us next weekend.  They give 15 places, so let's take at least 10 of them.  Not much to ask, huh?
