What: 2013 Math Team Celebration

When:  Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 pm (arrive anytime after 6:00 pm)

Where:  Stone Bridge Farm

Why:  To celebrate the accomplishments of the 7th and 8th grade math teams and to send the 8th graders off in style.

8th Grade - Undefeated Season Recognition

The 8th grade team will be recognized for their PERFECT 8 - 0 SEASON at the board meeting on May 21 at 6 pm.  We want all the 8th graders to be there.  Please save the date!

First at Cedar Ridge, Muscle Shoals, Vestavia Hills, Pizitz, Albertville, Hoover, Greater Atlanta Christian and Berry Middle School.  Quite an accomplishment!

These are not all of the results, just the top 5.  We placed 4th out of all 23 teams.  Undefeated at 8-0!  Couldn't be prouder.  The total of 321 with a margin of 80 points is impressive.

Six in top ten for 7th grade.  Fifth out of all 24 teams.  Great job guys!

Well, we haven't officially gotten the results from Saturday's tournament, but we have a pretty good idea that the 7th grade placed second and the 8th grade placed first.  We are still awaiting results from Mrs. Clopton.

Finale at Berry Middle School

Join us at Berry Middle School on Saturday, April 13 for our last tournament of the year.  What a fantastic year it has been!  I am looking forward to celebrating the year with students, parents and siblings at Stone Bridge on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 pm.  You may want to start arriving around 6 pm to enjoy the atmosphere and conversation with friends as well as take some pictures.  Can't wait to celebrate all the accomplishments of the year for 7th and 8th and to say goodbye to a truly AMAZING group of 8th graders.  What a privilege to be your teacher!

  6:00 – Bus leaves CMS

  6:30 – 7:00 Eat breakfast at Chick-fil-A on Walker's Chapel Road

  8:00 – 8:30  Registration

  8:45 – 9:50  8^th Test  -  7^th Test

  9:50 – 10:20  Refreshments in Cafeteria

10:20 – 11:30  7^th Ciphering  -  8^th Ciphering (rooms)

11:30 – 1:25  Lunch (Galleria)

  1:25 –  Leave mall

  2:00 – Awards (Parents, we would love to see you at our last  

             awards ceremony.  Thanks for your encouragement.)
